Family Dispute Resolution
Family Dispute Resolution is much faster, less adversarial and much more affordable than going to Court. It allows you to remain in control of deciding your own future rather than allowing a Judge to decide on it for you. At Family Dispute Resolution, you get to set the agenda.
Our Family Dispute Resolution Practitioner is registered with the Attorney-General's Office and is authorised to provide mediation for Family Law matters. A Section 60i Certificate can be issued for you to take your matter to Court if an agreement is unable to be reached.
Your children are our focus at Family Dispute Resolution. Their needs are our priority and in their absence, we will be their voice to ensure that any agreement reached is in their best interests.
Nothing said at Family Dispute Resolution is admissible in Court. We don't take sides, share any information with the other parent that you don't want us to and will always treat both you both with the same unconditional respect.
We understand that meeting face to face with your ex is not always possible or ideal for many different reasons. That's why we also conduct Family Dispute Resolution by phone or online.
Family Dispute Resolution is a type of Alternative Dispute Resolution which does involve lengthy court battles. It is much more affordable and far less stressful than going to Court.
Depression is a major consequence of family separation for both adults & children, and a major risk factor for suicide, especially amongst men.
More awareness & support is needed for the mental health of Dads, Mums & Kids, during & following family break down.
The Iris Foundation is a Registered Charity which delivers Suicide Awareness Campaigns within the community, as well as Resilience Programs within primary schools for children as young as 9 years of age.
Your support will help the Iris Foundation to provide ongoing suicide awareness & education through the delivery of their prevention programs which promote mental health & resilience for both adults & children.
Your donation is 100% tax deductible.
Fostering Hope, Resilience & Connection
