Keeping Kids Connected
Children's Supervised Contact
Our Children’s Contact Service is PRIVATELY owned and operated. We have our very own, private & beautifully appointed Contact Centres in Sydney (Castle Hill) and on the on the Central Coast of NSW (Wyong). We also provide community based visits on the Central Coast and throughout Sydney.
We provide support to
keep children safely connected with the parent they no longer live with
following family separation/break down when safety concerns exist, when there has been no contact between them for a period of time, or when contact is Ordered by the Court to be professionally supervised.
Children and their parent(s) are supported to build and maintain a safe and secure, positive relationship with guidance, strategies, resources and activities. It is our goal to assist separated parents move to unsupervised, self-managed contact arrangements for their child/children, and we help them learn how to co-parent positively together along the way.
Extended family members such as Grandparents, Aunts, Uncles and Cousins can also use our Supervised Contact Service.
Our staff are highly qualified and experienced, non-judgmental and unbiased, and will always keep your child/children's safety, well-being and best interests as their first priority.
The needs and wants of your child/children are paramount. We help parents to build upon their strengths in order to establish and maintain a positive relationship with their child/children.
We provide a detailed report for every contact visit and change over that takes place and provide copies to both parents as well as their Solictors/Lawyers and Independent Children's Lawyers (if appointed).
Our services are private, safe and neutral. We won't make you stand out in public, will protect your privacy and will never take sides.
We will not judge or criticise you. Our staff are neutral and unbiased and not here to place blame on anyone. We know there are always two sides to every story and realise there is no such thing as a perfect parent.
Our staff are appropriately qualified to work with families and children, are highly experienced, Police Checked, have valid Working with Children Checks and hold current First Aid Certificates.
We provide plenty of fun games, crafts and activities for children and parents to play and interact together with. There is no need to bring any of these things with you, unless you (or your child/children want to of course!).
Depression is a major consequence of family separation for both adults & children, and a major risk factor for suicide, especially amongst men.
More awareness & support is needed for the mental health of Dads, Mums & Kids, during & following family break down.
The Iris Foundation is a Registered Charity which delivers Suicide Awareness Campaigns within the community, as well as Resilience Programs within primary schools for children as young as 9 years of age.
Your support will help the Iris Foundation to provide ongoing suicide awareness & education through the delivery of their prevention programs which promote mental health & resilience for both adults & children.
Your donation is 100% tax deductible.
Fostering Hope, Resilience & Connection
as a means to reduce the risk of suicide.
