Facilitated Change Overs
Facilitated Changeovers are ideal for separated parents in high conflict with each other, prefer not to cross paths, or for legal reasons, cannot come into contact with each other. Facilitated Changeovers are also great for parents who are on their way to managing unsupervised contact visits for themselves.
We stagger arrival and departure times so parents/carers don't come into contact with each other. We can meet parents/carers at different nearby locations before and after the contact visit takes place if required, to ensure safety for everyone.
By eliminating the need for parents/carers to come into contact with each other, the risk of conflict is reduced and children are able to have a positive experience as they move from one parent/carer to the other.
All of our Supervised Contact Visits have Facilitated Changeovers either side of them, prior to and following.
We also provide Facilitated Changeovers as a stand-alone service when Supervised Contact Visits are not required.
For more information on Facilitated Changeovers, click below for our current Supervised Contact Brochure.
All change overs come with a detailed report for parents. This is helpful in Court matters especially, and also provides each parent with important feedback and reassurance.
Our services are private, safe and neutral. We won't make you stand out in public, will protect your privacy and will never take sides.
We operate from our own purpose specific cottage on the Central Coast as well as on the Upper North Shore (& surrounding areas) of NSW.
Staggered arrival times and different locations provide safety and security when parents cannot, or prefer not to, come into contact with each other.
By eliminating the need for parents/carers to come into contact with each other, children can enjoy a positive, conflict free experience.
Facilitated change overs are perfect for families on their way to managing contact arrangements themselves.
Depression is a major consequence of family separation for both adults & children, and a major risk factor for suicide, especially amongst men.
More awareness & support is needed for the mental health of Dads, Mums & Kids, during & following family break down.
The Iris Foundation is a Registered Charity which delivers Suicide Awareness Campaigns within the community, as well as Resilience Programs within primary schools for children as young as 9 years of age.
Your support will help the Iris Foundation to provide ongoing suicide awareness & education through the delivery of their prevention programs which promote mental health & resilience for both adults & children.
Your donation is 100% tax deductible.
Fostering Hope, Resilience & Connection
